Treat Mum to a delicious breakfast this Mother's Day with our easy crêpe recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup / 185ml milk
- ½ cup / 125ml water
- 2 eggs
- 15g butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp sugar
Method
- Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. Cover the batter and allow to stand for 1 hour.
- Pour 2 – 3 tablespoons of batter onto a heated and lightly greased crepe pan. Using the crepe spreader, place it in the centre of the mixture and turn in a circular motion to spread the batter out evenly. Cook over a high heat for 1 minute or until golden. Flip the crepe and cook for a further 30 seconds. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter until finished.
- Serve crepes flat or fold into quarters with your favourite topping such as maple syrup with a light dust of icing sugar and berries.
