Crêpes

Treat Mum to a delicious breakfast this Mother's Day with our easy crêpe recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • ¾ cup / 185ml milk
  • ½ cup / 125ml water
  • 2 eggs
  • 15g butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk to combine. Cover the batter and allow to stand for 1 hour.
  2. Pour 2 – 3 tablespoons of batter onto a heated and lightly greased crepe pan. Using the crepe spreader, place it in the centre of the mixture and turn in a circular motion to spread the batter out evenly. Cook over a high heat for 1 minute or until golden. Flip the crepe and cook for a further 30 seconds. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Repeat with remaining batter until finished.
  3. Serve crepes flat or fold into quarters with your favourite topping such as maple syrup with a light dust of icing sugar and berries.
