Juicy, delicious pizza with a crispy base is a family favourite and this pizza stone set is all you need to replicate the tastes of Italy in your own oven.

A pizza stone will produce very similar results to cooking pizza in a masonry oven, as the porous nature of the stone draws away moisture from the base to produce crispy results, without drying out the topping. Lightly dust the pizza stone with flour before placing your pizza base on to avoid the base sticking to the stone. The special construction distributes heat evenly across the entire pizza to maintain an even baking temperature. Great to use with homemade pizza dough or to give ready made crusts that pizza parlour crunch. Try using the stone to bake scones or free form bread on, or use it to get a lovely skin on baked potatoes.
