Easy Waffles



  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 55g butter, melted


  1. Turn on your waffle iron.
  2. While the waffle iron is preheating, in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, vanilla extract, and eggs together. Pour over the flour mixture and whisk until combined (do not overmix). Gently whisk in melted butter.
  4. Ladle batter into the centre of your waffle iron, spreading it until there is about a centimetre before the edge, and close the iron. Cook the waffles until golden brown and crisp.
  5. Serve warm with maple syrup and butter as desired.
