Easy Waffles

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup flour
- 2 Tbsp white sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 55g butter, melted
METHOD:
- Turn on your waffle iron.
- While the waffle iron is preheating, in a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, vanilla extract, and eggs together. Pour over the flour mixture and whisk until combined (do not overmix). Gently whisk in melted butter.
- Ladle batter into the centre of your waffle iron, spreading it until there is about a centimetre before the edge, and close the iron. Cook the waffles until golden brown and crisp.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and butter as desired.
